Had an incredibly delicious meal. Good, knowledgeable service. Refined food, lots of vegetables (my thing!) and an extensive wine list with good advice. The food was so good that I wasn't even thinking about taking photos. Would definitely come back!

A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent, with delicious dishes prepared with care, and a vegetarian option is available. The owner and staff are very attentive and take the time to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience. Bonus: the price is more than reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

The restaurant was absolutely perfect.

We had lunch here yesterday; we both chose the three-course menu for 30 euros per person. I had a broccoli hummus with Iberico ham and herbs. My partner had bisque with fennel and mussels. Both were excellent! The main course and dessert were also well put together. You can taste that they deliver quality, as they accept a limited number of guests. For instance, they did not accept walk-ins because lunch had already started. This ran from 12:00 to 14:00, not counting any overruns. Dogs were welcome, which meant we were seated outside. This wasn't a problem because the weather was nice. We were the only ones outside, though; inside it was full. The trick is not to forget about us then. They came by regularly to ask if they could be of any further assistance and neatly set the cutlery for every course. I had wine pairings, although I did have to ask for them myself every time after the course had already been served. I had indicated beforehand that I would like matching wines from the Alsace region. There was friendliness and hospitality from the French towards tourists who only spoke English. I think you also have to look a bit beyond their culture. In short, the wines and food were top-notch! Because we were the only ones sitting outside, we sometimes felt like we were being forgotten regarding the wine pairing. Definitely recommended if you love good food!

Excellent restaurant! We chose a four-course menu and opted for a wine pairing. The sommelier, Justin, was very attentive and guided us towards some wonderful discoveries perfectly suited to our tastes. The food was excellent, as was the service. Thank you to the entire team for a lovely evening!

We just returned from a trip to Alsace. Celebrating my birthday at Le Valtrivin was an unforgettable experience. We'd read a lot of good reviews, but the true experience exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is located in a picturesque spot, surrounded by vineyards. The restaurant itself is very cozy. We were warmly greeted and offered an aperitif. We ordered the 5-course menu. Valeria and Tristan are a wonderful married couple who own the restaurant. Valeria is a chef with golden hands, and Tristan is an experienced professional sommelier. Valeria came to our table and explained each dish in detail. All six courses—we received a sixth course as a compliment from the chef—were an incredible feast of flavors. At our request, Tristan selected the perfect wine pairing for each dish. Each pairing was a new discovery of flavors. 20-years Tawny Port with apple dessert were delicious final of the dinner. The entire evening was the perfect birthday present. Thank you so much, Valeria and Tristan! We often travel and visit restaurants in different countries, but yours has become our number one. We've already recommended Le Valtrivin to all our friends and acquaintances. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Alsace 😍😍😍

Superb restaurant. The biggest plus was the excellent wine list with some great selections at reasonable prices; we loved it. The dishes were of very high quality and quite refined. The service was pleasant and efficient. The only downside was the cheese plate, which was good but rather small for the price.
