Restaurant Waldeslust

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The service was poor, the manager was unpleasant, never smiled, and made remarks to her staff in front of the customers. We felt like we were bothering them... A wasp flew into our bottle of iced tea, which was about a third full but hadn't been drunk yet. We asked for a replacement bottle, and to our surprise, we were charged for a second one, and the manager made rude comments. We were a table of seven... In short, not very pleasant, not very customer-oriented... We won't be back.

Terrible service, limited menu, my friend was shocked when she asked to see the bill given the amount, only to be told that if we weren't happy, we didn't need to come back. In short, we didn't need to be told twice and had already decided they wouldn't see us again. Disappointing, avoid it.

The last time I came here, it was with my friends from Ingersheim, and we were still paying in francs. I was surprised, given all the bad reviews I'd read. There were four of us, and we ate very well and, above all, received a very warm welcome.

Simple but high-quality dishes. Great service and a large garden with a children's play area. A perfect place to stop while cycling.

Fantastic! We made a reservation over the phone with a very kind person, and upon arrival, they thoughtfully reserved a table for us near the play area (we have a child). This was lovely so we could keep an eye on him. Our order was taken and the service was quick. The atmosphere was warm and the servers very friendly. The food was delicious. The setting is perfect. We had a wonderful time as a family.

A terrible experience! We arrived as a group of two adults, a child, an infant, and a dog. We wanted to try this so-called family-friendly restaurant with its terrace, enjoying the May sunshine. We were given disdainful looks and told that dogs weren't allowed. Even our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel wasn't welcome! Okay, that's the rule, but they offered us no solutions or options. They suggested we put the dog in the car—WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA! Tying the dog to a tree in the park wasn't allowed either; they made it clear we had to leave, even with a one-month-old baby. Why call yourself a family-friendly place if you don't tolerate anything? Oh well, we won't be back. We'll go to the restaurant at Pont de la Fecht; they're welcoming!

Excellent Corden Bleu. Vegetables overcooked. French atmosphere. Dated building.
