Excellent experience, everything was very good, both the food and the service. We will gladly return.

We were very disappointed by this restaurant, which had seemed promising based on the reviews. To begin with, the service was deplorable. The waitress was barely friendly, whereas she treated regular customers in a completely different way. Admittedly, we had booked using a Swiss business number and it was the Christmas market season, but that in no way excuses the waitress's overly rude attitude. As an amuse-bouche, we received about 10 grams of hay butter, which our 9-year-old daughter particularly enjoyed. We asked for more, but the response was, "That's not possible, it's a special treat from the chef!" 10 grams of butter??? I understand we're going through a difficult time, but still, especially for a child. Then, the bread was refilled sparingly. There were three of us, but since one of the loaves was already partially eaten, we were only given two more. Petty. The food was decent, with the exception of the spelt risotto, which was supposed to be locally sourced but was served with a slice of low-quality, rubbery Serrano ham, clearly 100% Metro (the food wholesaler). Finally, to finish, there were three desserts on the menu. Our daughter wanted a chestnut tart, but the waitress explained that it contained alcohol and that she wouldn't serve it to a child (thank you, we're responsible enough to know that it's not for children). Since none of the other desserts appealed to our daughter, we asked for two scoops of ice cream, which were included in the children's menu. And then came the response: "That's impossible, you have to order the children's menu to get ice cream." Apparently, it's impossible for accounting purposes to charge for two scoops of ice cream separately. This is ridiculous! In short, we won't be back, even though, contrary to what the waitress thought, we're from the area. What a shame! Perhaps she would have become charming if we had become regulars. And all this for a hefty price: 2 adults, 1 child, 3 starters, 3 main courses, 0 desserts and drinks, 177 euros! There are much better places at these prices. Try the Auberge du Neuland in Colmar, or the Maison Rouge, or anything else!

Hats off to the artists of this blue door opening onto the stars. Everything here breathes at once: good taste, gastronomic creativity, vibrant colors, and a youthful energy of body and spirit. Thank you to the chef, the hostess, and the sommelier. A daily menu, fresh from the market, absolutely stunning. Veni, vidi, vici.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, a true delight for the taste buds! A real discovery! Kudos to the chef, because it had been a very long time since I'd eaten like that <3 Furthermore, it's possible to request a vegetarian option (for the daily menu). (Note, however, that fish isn't considered meat at this restaurant, but don't worry, just let the chef know and he'll find a top-notch solution). PS: That dessert! It brought me pure joy, it was incredible. Thank you!

This was my second time eating at this restaurant, and it was perfect from start to finish. The service was friendly and impeccable. Highly recommended!

A huge congratulations to the exquisite cuisine. A very big congratulations to the waitstaff. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the after-dinner drink offered in a comfortable lounge. A truly wonderful discovery.

Behind this blue door lies a hidden gem in Sainte Croix en Plaine. The highlights of this restaurant: 1/ Inventive bistronomy with delightful flavor combinations. I thoroughly enjoyed the farm egg with coconut cream and morels, and the risotto with its parmesan and coppa emulsion. 2/ A lovely, varied wine list. But above all, Loic will take you on a journey through the history of the wines he presents. He's passionate, and it's a pleasure to chat with him. 3/ An attentive team. They listen to your needs. No pressure, and always a smile. 4/ A cigar cellar. Fancy finishing your meal outside with a good cigar? That's also possible. In short, a wonderful restaurant to discover and add to your favorites ♥️
